This is an ale made in the tradition of the great strong ales of Scotland. Amber colored, malty sweet with underlying note of smokiness.

A hazy orange beer with a bit of sediment floating around, under an orange head. The aroma is sweet with a weird fruity note that mixes with light notes of flowers and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of apples and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic end. I find it somewhat weird.

Sample from draft. Weak caramel color, aroma and flavor. Not much else. Need to add extra words here to meet the 75 character minimum since there isn’t much else to say about this beer.

Draught at the brewpub
Amber color; creamy head. Very light caramel aroma. Light caramel flavor, round body, correctly bitter. Quite boring.

saxo (19282) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2012
Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, fruits, toasted malt and hops.

mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 23, 2016
On tap at Four Peaks in Tempe, pours a clear pale copper with a small white head. Aroma is very subdued, not bringing out much other than feint bready malt. Flavour is much the same, just bready malt and maybe a touch of toasted dry caramel, but that’s a stretch. Weak and boring. Meh.
