On tap at the Tucson airport. Dark amber with a hint of red. Smells a little off, tastes malty. I’m not a big fan of Scottish Ales, but this is pretty good.
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2017 Thick tan head but short lived. The body is amber, clear and bubbly. It smells sweet and spicy. It tastes sweet and smokey. It's really good easily one of the best beers I've had yet. Found at the AM PM near my job. aaronmccalmont (7) - - AUG 11, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2017 Kilt lifter is much better in Phoenix, Arizona then anywhere else I have had it. Must be a beer that does better fresh from the brewery or maybe it taste better since they seem to chill all the beers in Phoenix at a very low temperature. Either way, I would order this beer in Phoenix but probably not in other states. crajun (1263) - , Texas, USA - JUL 29, 2017
bottle. enjoyed; fan of the style. malty, sweet, caramel in aroma. taste is similar; chewy. easy to drink; will have more. underated by others. cmacklin (1311) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 13, 2017
On tap. Pours a clear amber-brown with a medium, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malt and hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and a hint of dark fruit with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Simple, but ok. stevoj (5588) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Pounder can from Westgate Hotel shop. Dark-ish amber, frothy head fades fast to ring. Aroma is sweet, candy sugar and toffee. Where is the earthy, peaty notes? Taste too is very sweet, root beer barrels, toffee and candy sugar. None of the malts come through. I know its an AB Inbev joint, but still, I expected better.

This beer is far too thin and low on body for a scottish ale at 6%. Not a lot of "scotch" taste to it either. However, it is cleanly made. Taste & tap SD. wombat23 (1787) - Texas, USA - APR 1, 2017
Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma. Taste is malt, caramel, spice, yeast, some fruitiness. Really kind of a mess - flavors all over the place. Flavor is not particularly pleasant. Did not finish.
