It is very good until it is down the gullet. Then it is pretty good. I like the lighter airy feel this gives. The hint of cherries is a nice touch.

Draft sample. Poured hazy reddish amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet cherry aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

On Cask at Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest on 5/12/12. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Malty, funky and estery nose with a light cherry note I might have missed if not in the name. Malty and banana estery flavor with mild tartness and light cherry. I definitely prefer the regular Backstage Blonde.

Cask version at Barley’s 9th Annual Mini RAF (05/12/12): Hazy straw pour with a thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries and yeast. Light body with flavors of mildly tart cherries, malt and yeast. The finish is short and fruity. Slightly above average overall.
