Draft sample. The beer is a clear yellow with a white head of foam. Aroma is citrus, lemonade, and wheat. Reminds me of a radler. Juicy citrus notes. Lighter body and medium carbonation.

Aroma: Sour fruit aromas. Not pleasant. Appearance: Clear gold with a nice white head. Taste: Light sweetness balanced by a light sourness. Palate: Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation, long finish. Overall: Not a bad beer, but not what I was expecting. Certainly not what I’d expect from a wheat beer, but it’s still a really solid, drinkable beer. It’s interesting, thought slightly disappointing.

12iz can shared poured a unfiltered yellow color with a white head. Light wheat aroma and some malts. The flavor was a bit thin in mouth feel but you could discern the wheat from the malts. Not bad but not real good.

12 oz can. This is a hazy orange yellow brew with a decent head. Nose is a bit crisp and smells of straight up bread yeast. taste is a bit crisp and dry. finishes without much to do. a decent beer, but there are better in the class.

12 ounce can, no canning date that I could find. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a dark gold color with about a half inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like oranges, tangerines, wheat/grainy malt and a bit of peppery spice. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, although I think it smells a little better than it tastes. Mouthfeel/body is light, it’s refreshing and easy to drink. This wouldn’t be an everyday beer for me, but on a hot day I could certainly drink quite a few of these! Certainly worth trying if you’ve never had it before, not a bad choice for summer. $8.99 a 6-pack.

From a can. Pours dark golden with a fluffy white head. Aromas of citrus hops and sweet malt. Upfront hoppiness that gives way to subtle malt, citrus, pepper and hoppy herbal notes. Light and slightly oily palate feel. Very crisp, dry and assertively hoppy. Interesting wheat.

Light Amber pour with medium white head. Mouthfeel is light. Smells yeast. Tastes wheat but is slightly more bitter than regular wheat! An ok wheat beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can from Corner Stone. Gold pour with a finger or so bright white head. Aroma is butterscotch, citrus. Tastes are wheat, earthy bitter, light citrus, little woody. Finish is fairly dry and clean. Palate is a little weak.

The Sunday special at Melt gave me a chance to try this rather uninspiring wheat for $3.00. Fortunately it lacks any major flaws but at the same time has nothing to set it apart from any other session wheat. A typical Four Strings release is competent and nothing more.

Aroma / Appearance - A coppery semitransparent base glows with a ring of white head for company. Lemons, light wheat, and residual gentle hops waft upwards without a care.

Flavor / Palate - A tang of earthy hay brings back memories of early spring fields. Orange marmalade spread over wheat bread warms the throat before a bitter oaky finish. A respectable beer is interchangeable with other 5% ABV wheat ales. Skip unless you are looking for a cheap tick.

Julie say blah. Very Hoppy for a wheat. Saw that it was a wheat and asked if it would help. But she did not think it would. She give a 1 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
