Wow. Dark golden amber pours, thin tan head. The is beautiful; grassy, citrus forward hop notes, light toffee, caramel, spice. Full body for an IPA, light caramel sweetness, a rye bread profile, toasted grains, light pepper notes. Quite rich with a nice floral hop up front. Heavy citrus and bitterness on the finish. Wow this is super good.

Bottle (bomber) at home, split 2-ways. Thanks to Alex for this one! Slight hazy golden with a medium white head, good retention, leaving good lacing. Aroma is of resinous hops, belgian - borderline Saison - yeast, floral notes, citrus/grapefrutis notes and rye peppery/spiciness. Taste is peppery/spicy with fruity notes, a good cereals backbone, floral notes and resinous bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Fluffy mouthfeel. Dry, peppery and floral finish. Very easy drinking. The rye peppery/spicy features are well integrated and the fluffy mouthfeel is really nice. Well done!

A tasty beer. The aroma is that of rye bread, but the flavor blends well with the hops. It’s sweetest is noticeable but not overbearing.

Rating #2445 - 2016.04.12 - On tap at 4 Winds. This was a deep amber coloured pour with a mild tan foam that faded to a ring. Nose was toffee, lemon. Mild alcohol warmth and carbonation. Taste is a mild peppery smokiness from the rye grain, mild toffee and caramel malt sweetness, but a boatload of hop punches, citrusy, grassy. Finishes smooth, nice bitterness. Phenomenal rye brew.

32oz bottle pours a golden color with a bit of white head. Deliciously balanced Belgian yeast and hops. A little fruity. Rye spice lingers at the end.

(Rating #7126)

Bottle shared by "hannont". Colour...cloudy golden amber with a thick head. Nose...fruity, funky and yeasty with stone fruits and citrus zest. Palate...dry, tight, focuses and brimming with orange seeds and white grape pips. The mid palate is tart and gripping and the finish offers the same but with tangerine skins and quince.

My Bottom Line:
Grapefruit, rye, flowers, lemongrass and conifers whirl about in this highly intoxicating IPA-like brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy pale amber.
-All flavors are beautifully harmonious.
-Drinkability is very high.
-Bitterness is herbal, spicy and resinous.
-This is mighty impressive from a brewery I had never heard of. Shame on me,

Bottle.

Hazy orange, huge, frothy, sticky, white head. Tropical fruit, lots of yeast, subtle spice, and citrus zest. Sticky, highly hopped, slightly oily mouth feel, with a solid carb. The finish has a medium bitterness, soft spice and some lightly soapy, zesty, fruity esters in the end. Quite nice.
