COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vexillum, an ancient Imperial Roman symbol for strength and nobility. This insistently hoppy IPA reveals notes of Grapefruit and Melon while finishing bitter, yet affably balanced.

Very good balance with the hops that makes the IBU up there but not over the top. A great blend of fruit and pine. One of the best doubles I’ve had. Not boozy and very refreshing.

Tons of pineapple and grapefruit. Bitterness is moderately heavy and nice for how fruit forward this style is. One hell of an IIPA. Pours a cloudy, straw yellow with a frothy, sticky white head. The nose is bright, slight floral notes, tons of pineapple and grapefruit notes. Light pine needle resin. Medium body, slight booze presence, oily and medium resin. Lingers with medium bitterness, grapefruit acid and juicy tropical notes.

[8805-20161021] Cask. Very fruity sugar candied orange cookie aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Candied orange and sweet sugar cookies flavour. Medium body. Nice blend of things going on. (8/3/9/4/17) 4.1

By far the best Imperial IPA I have ever tasted. The 9% alcohol and 100 IBU’s are blended perfectly. Based on taste alone I would never have guessed this was a 9% brew. I refer to it as Four Winds IPA’s Big Brother! Too bad it’s not available all year long...

22 oz bottle poured, courtesy of mcberko. Thanks! Thick golden pour with a rocky foam head and lacing. Heavier body, sediment. An excellent piney hop aroma with a nice cool flavor of bitter citrus fruit. Some grapefruit in particular, with no sweetness. A bitter citrus rind rounded finish. Very cool linger. Supreme hop flavor. Well made imperial here. Very enjoyable.

Bomber bottle, big head, light gold body and plenty of bubbliness. Aroma of peach skins, sour strawberry. Nice light flavour with peachiness and a dry lemon finish. Crisp, booze is invisible. Good oiliness. Well crafted.

Bottle shared with brother. Aroma: piney, melon, passion fruit, mango, subtle spices. App: cloudy orange, huge white frothy head, big bubbly lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, a bit silky but resinous, crisp dry bitter finish. Overall: good stuff. Good fruity aroma and taste. PS: the sediment on this beer is HUGE! be careful when pouring it or you’ll end up with lots of particles in suspension. Anyway overall it’s pretty good and a well made fruity juice. Thanks Sergiy for this one.

Bottle. Pours a crisp slightly hazy golden. Fluffy white head. Aroma of grass and grapefruit. Super hop bomb, bitter, juciy, and drinkable . Thick and resinous palate with a bitter and lingering finish. Great Imperial IPA.

On tap at Alibi Room in Vancouver. A clear light amber beer with a bit of white head and a sour fruity nose. Sweet and slightly sour, bitter. Moderately hopped and minimal malt. Refreshing! 4

2016-10-21. Hazy orange body with a moderate frothy beige head. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, nice sweet orange and mango notes, light green hops. Flavour is similar, fruity melange with notes of citrus, mango and tropical fruit. Smooth average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. Tasty. 7/3-4/7/3/16 Cask Days 2016, Toronto.
