Bottle. Quite a pleasant surprise for me: Barnyardy and wooden dry pear aroma. Light hazy green hue with light champagne carbonation. Dry fruityness, light wood and earth with enough fruitsugar in the finish to balance it off. Dry, yet full mouthfeel, light sparkly. A brilliant treat, full of flavor, yet low on alcohol. Bottle at the RBESG08 Grand tasting. Alround rating: Very carbonated, sweet almost artifical pear, pear drop sweetness, but its real and very tasty. omhper (25811) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2008
Bottled at RBESG. Pale yellow, no head. estery winegum-like pear aroma. Sweet and juicy. Fresh but a bit candyish fruit flavour. Lightly citric with quite some carbonation. Sigmund (7963) - Tau, NORWAY - JAN 25, 2012
750 ml green "champagne" bottle (a gift), as Fournier Frères Poiré. ABV is 2.5%. Very pale straw coloured, pours very fizzy with a large white head that soon disappears completely. Moderate aroma of sweet pears and drier perry pear varieties. The flavour is sweet and very fruity, pears of course, but also notes of sweet apples. A hint of oak and sulphites in the finish. Quite refreshing when cold. SinH4 (6393) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2015
Pale yellow color with white head.Apples, pears. Spritzy. Not complex, but good power. Easily drinkable. Not bad.

RBESG08 grand tasting. Christian (13865) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2008
Extremely pale light yellow with a small white head that went away fast. Strong, pungent pear and cork in the nose. Very sweet but pleasant pear taste. A nice drink even if it isn’t complex.
Pale yellow with no head. Aroma has pear juice and a touch of wood. Sweet juicy flavour with a tiny tart note. Ungstrup (38592) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2009
Bottled at RBESG 2008. A light golden perry with no head. The aroma has notes of sweet pears. The flavor is sweet with notes of pear, leading to a lightly dry finish. FatPhil (17160) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 4, 2012

Slightly mealy pear aroma. Some strange gluey walpaper paste too. Pale, but quite dark for a pear cidre, clear, and definitely frisson. Taste fuller and sweater than the aroma, more apple and peary esters. Still a bit mealy in places. Crisp and refreshing in the mouth, with a nice sharp tartness that hacks through the fattiness of the ribs I just ate beatifully. Finish preserves the best parts of the taste, the tartness and sweet fruity esters. Perhaps not intrinsically great, but at 2.5% this is lush, and a perfect complement to fatty and spicy food.
Rerate: 330ml bottle (Hopner, Tallinn) (7:3:6:2:13=3.1)
Super sweet apple and pear aroma, pure fresh fruit, even baked apple, complete with some hint of sweet raisin. Crisp palate, sharp, a little thin and fizzy. Nice fruity taste, again plenty of apple, some baked apple, just a hint of pear. Shame about the petilance, too high for me even on a hot summery day.
330ml bottle. Clear golden color. No head, non expected. Sweet, leather, toffee in aroma. Sweet, apples, bit of vinegar in taste. Crisp mouthfeel.
