Mostly bitter coffee with a touch of milt chocolate. Not amazing, but decent enough. harrisoni (19709) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2013
Keykeg Pigs Ear 2013. Black beer lasting beige head. Not keen on the aroma. Caramel toffee. Not good. Puke and diacetyl. Ugh. Drain pour. Theydon_Bois (21849) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2013

Pigs Ear. The Round Church, Hackney. Cask. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Little tan head. Palate is light and crisp. Light tangy dark malts. Whisper of coffee. Dark fruits, well buried. Finishes dry. Not bad and nice to see Fourpure produce a passable beer.
Bottled London Brewers Market 30/11/13. A black beer with a tan head. A good oily stout. Nicely hopped with some fruity notes. Brash and bold with noticeable oatmeal sweetness late on. A good beer which seems sure of itself. Scopey (16537) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2013
Bottle from Good Taste Croydon. It pours black with a medium light tan head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, earth, cocoa and mild acidity. The taste is roasty, light tartness, some acidity, cardboard and coffee with a dry finish. Light body and fine, prickly carbonation. Something doesn’t seem quite right to me..... a touch of a tartness may suggest onset of infection. Also pretty thin. Not great. Leighton (23092) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours rich brown with frothy beige head that settles into a creamy film. The aroma has moderate roasted malts with hints of tobacco and baking cocoa. Light to medium sweet flavor with a strong roasted malt foundation, with soft notes of coffee, cocoa, dirt and burnt leaves. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Good balance to finish, further roasted malts, a bit of toasted sugars, light chocolate cake, burnt bread, raisins and a mild earthy bitterness. A solid offering.
