330 ml can, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 5.1%, IBU 30. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of cold coffee, hints of chocolate and cocoa. A moderate roastiness in the soft flavour, mid between sweet and dry. Hints of mild coffee and chocolate. Decent and definitely drinkable, but hardly a masterpiece. 330ml can from Sourced Market, St Pancras, shared with Finn on a Great Western train towards Devon. Tan-coloured head, pitch black, spotty lacing. Aroma of mildly roasted chocolate. Chocolate flavour added by subdued lactose and dough. Lightly roasted, mid-sweet malty ending. Clean and pleasant. (26.04.2017). nocheinbier (72) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2017
A pint. Lovely aroma. Look great with its pitch black colour and lasting beige head. And a lovely taste which will satisfy any stout lover.
Brilliant beer from this small London brewery.I just wish I could find this beer more regularly. Can’t wait to try their other beers. the_beergery (213) - - APR 28, 2017
One pint draft pulled into a tall glass. Appearance is jet black with an inch-thick tan head of froth, which dissipates quick quickly leaving thick tan lacing on the glass. Aroma is very faint, almost non-existent apart from some roasted malty notes. Taste, though, is well balanced between chocolate, coffee, and roasty malts. There is some light sweetness, manifesting in the absence of any trace of bitterness. This brew is medium bodied, with an oily, creamy mouthfeel, accompanied by soft carbonation, Taschert (201) - FRANCE - APR 25, 2017
Can 33cl. Pour a dark beer with a brown cloudy head. Roasted coffee notes but very little lactose hints. Long end a bit bitter. 04/17

Tap. Black pour with light brown head that forms a decent lacing. Nice ’oaty’ mouthfeel, does kinda feel like a breakfast. Light chocolate, some blackcurrant, and coffee notes. Smooth creamy finish Nice. thewolf (12992) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 13, 2017

Keg @ Purecraft Birmingham. Aroma rich malt, hints of coffee. Taste is sweet, coffee and hints of brown sugar, but a little bit thin on the palate. It’s what they describe it as, but I tend to prefer my oatmeal stouts with a little more body. A decent beer, one which would probably do better in cask. DSG (15519) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 1, 2017
Can sample at a a tasting at troubles’ place. Thanks Tom L. Black with a tan head. Chocolate, roast, some coffee, sweetish, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. Nice.
