COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautifully bright, deep golden coloured beer with fine bubbles, lively carbonation and great lacing topped by a tightly packed white head. The long maturation period has given this beer very clear, well-defined flavours and aromas. The Vienna & Munich malts give this beer a real substantial malt backbone of bread & toast, which is slightly offset by the sharper flavour of the Pilsner malt. The Tettnang hop imparts a great classically noble, delicately spicy flavour that gives this beer more complexity than the traditional German interpretations. Overall Oktoberfest 2017 is a rich, malty lager with bright hoppy notes.

Keg at the brewery. Pours clear, rich gold with a tight, creamy white head. The nose holds clean pale mats, citrusy hops. Light sweet flavour with crisp pale biscuits, lemony hops, a little hay, tangerine, grass. Light bodied with sturdy carbonation. Clean finish, lightly drying, more citrus notes and supportive, lean pale malts. Solid.

Keg at the brewery. A clear deep orange amber coloured pour with a lasting fine off white head. Aroma is nice clean cereal malts, licks of hay, little toffee, melinoidin. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, cereal, honey monster cereal, grassy hop. Very nicely balanced and put together. Palate is semi sweet, frothy highish carbonation.. Really clean ferment. Enjoyable.
