Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Hearty citrusy hop nose with undertones of pine and pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavour with great dank hop character, balancing pale malt sugars, some tangerine, grapefruit, mango, moderate offsetting bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with just a bit of piney resin, more pale bread, melon, mango, peach, tangerine. Excellent balance overall. Good intensity without ever being aggressive. Outstanding IPA. Ktwse (5600) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2016
Pours hazy orange amber with tall white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, mango and peach. Taste is medium pine bitter with a mellow fruit sweet finish. Light and smooth body with average carbonation. harrisoni (19413) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 16, 2016 Can at Ravensgate Arms Ramsgate. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. A little metallic on the hops i thought bit burnt. Big floral hoppy aroma. Mango and some orange and lemon flavours. It?s no Northern Monk IPA which is my uk favourite at the moment. Floral fresh and entertaining. Just out of balance. Not for me. Harsh hop finish. 3.5 On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. better than in a can. Some creamy ness. It?s then got excellent west coast hops on the finish. Bitter finish. Yes it?s very much a citrusy ipa. Good though. Light. Nice enough. Leafy hoppy and very drinkable evergreen0199 (3504) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2016
Keg at Fourpure brewery, Bermondsey, London. A hazy orange coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, peach on the nose. Tastes hoppy, tropical fruit, peach, mango, grapefruit, juicy. One of the best IPA’s that I have had from this brewery. minutemat (6133) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2016
330ml can @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy orange, good white head. Aroma is juicy, tropical. Tastes perhaps stronger than it is, lashings of vibrant tropical fruit hop, orange / tangerine zest, grapefruit, lime, pine.. fairly smooth and full flavoured but with an offputting residual alcohol tang on the finish. Balanced fruit flavours, but just tastes a little strong for the ABV.

May 2016 - 330ml can at home in Richmond, as ’Fourpure Shape Shifter West Coast IPA’, 6.4%, BB Nov 2016, into a Fourpure tulip. Vibrant hazy orange, pretty still, big foamy off-white head. Aroma is dank and floral, rubbery, mango, petrol. Body is a touch light, tingly carbonation, foamy. Taste is potent Mosaic dankness, pineapple, grapefruit, rubbery, piney and very dank, juicy, grassy, spicy and everything that is good about hops. Man o man. For the ABV, I think this is an excellent dank hop-forward beer. (4.2)
May 2016 - 5 cans in and 5 more in the fridge. I’ve settled on a score - 4.2. An intense spicy burnt pine flavour on the one I’m drinking at the moment. (4.2)
July 2016 - Two cans tonight in the sunshine. This beer has muted slightly with a couple of months’ age, but is still very solid. (4.0)
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2016 Can at Fourpure. It pours hazy bright orange with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, mango, tangerine, um bungo, marmalade and a touch of grassy green hops. The taste is crisp, bitter, juicy orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pine, grass and hint of spring onion with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty flavoursome and drinkable. A solid IPA.
