Gravity cask @ Warwick University Real Ale Festival, Feb 2018. No tasting notes as I was already very drunk by the time I listed the scores.

Grumbo (4976) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2018
Cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2018, Norwich. Pours dark mahogany brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma has a large amount of chocolate, accompanied by malt, dark fruits and moderate roasted coffee. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium plus body, slick texture, very soft carbonation. Very good, my beer of the festival.

Cask conditioned at Stratford upon Avon Beer festival ’16. Dark brown with off white head. There is a sweet fruity character to this, chocolate and a light milky coffee note. Reasonable depth. Good stuff.

johndoughty (5635) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2015
Bottle. Black with a slightly sulphuric taste which was quite off putting. Some chocolate as well. Better bottled this might be a reasonable beer but it wasn’t.
