Amber in color with a very small white head. Aroma is of malt and caramel. Taste is malty sweet with hints of caramel and bread.

Hints of caramel when swirled. Poured a dark amber/copper with a light tan head. Taste was of light hops, yet a little sweet with a light finish. Lighter on the palate. Overall, a decent amber, yet forgettable.

Typical shit macrobrew. Light grainy malt aroma, watery taste and a watery finish.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2012 Draft at Bailey’s in Knoxville, TN. Nose of sweet malt and light vinegar. Clear amber with a lasting creamy foam and nice lacing. Taste is caramel, light marshmallow and earthy funk. Creamy smooth, light-medium body is easily quaffed.

Tap. At a bar in KC. Poured a light amber color with no real head. Malts in the aroma along with bread and yeast. No real flavor. I knew this was an AB product as soon as I took a drink. Very thin and very very watery. Pour beer.

Couldn’t see it too well in the dark bar lighting. It looks like a fairly dark amber from what I could tell. Nice head that went down kinda quick. Lots of lacing. Smelle kinda plain. Mostly malt. Tastes pretty decent. When I went to look it up, I was surprised that it was AB. The aftertaste does taste a bit like a BMC, but up front it has a surprising bite. More full bodied than most anything from AB. D-Not bad. I think that the adjunct aftertaste might start to pile up after awhile.

Tap. Amber rust color. Dusty smell. Some malts come through but it’s mostly adjuncts. Taste is caramel sweet with a corny backbone. Finish is crisp. Too macro in quality.

travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 23, 2009
On tap at the Fox and Hound in Lewisville, TX. The color is amberish with a decent head for a kegged beer. The smell is malts, caramel, sort of sweet, and basic. The taste is was dry biscuits, malts, caramel, and sort of boring.

On tap at the Fox and Hound in Charlotte, NC. Dark Amber color, decent head and lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee and malt. Malt flavor with a little sweetness and faint hops. Okay brew but I think the best part of the whole deal was the nice glass they brought it in. I would love to have one for my bar collection.

had this in gilbert... that’s a damn fine looking beer in its custom glass... rich amber with a soft off white head which leaves a ladder of lace behind. a smell of iron is a bit detracting from the fact that it really doesn’t smell like much else...some nuts and caramel perhaps. there is a defined iron flavor... along with strawberries, faint chocolate, cinnamon-ish spice, caramel and something minty/numbing. it’s dirty and vegetal yet not earthy with a watered down feeling.... almost like they brewed this with rewashed grain. thin body is lacking some pep from carbonation so it feels dead on the tongue... 4/4/4/2/10/2.4
