Drank at the Fox and Hound in Lake Highlands. The beer pours a reddish color with a white head. The aroma is full of malt with some bread and toffee. The flavor is also heavy on the malt. I get a lot of toffee and caramel with a little bit of nuttyness and grass mixed in. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Fox and Hound is not known for having a good beer selection, but this beer is actually not too bad. djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2008
On tap at Fox and Hound Willowbrook. Has an copper amber color with a small frothy white head. Very good sticky lacing on the glass. The aroma is sweet raisin malt and grain. The taste is a caramel malt with a dry finish. A good amber ale from Fox and Hound. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2008
On tap at Baileys in Knoxville. Clear amber orange with a finger of creamy white head. Thin malt aroma, weak dry hoppiness. Light caramel malt with spicy hops and a light bitterness. bseribeer (128) - Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2010
Hints of caramel when swirled. Poured a dark amber/copper with a light tan head. Taste was of light hops, yet a little sweet with a light finish. Lighter on the palate. Overall, a decent amber, yet forgettable. auderale (605) - Minot, North Dakota, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Amber colored pour with medium sized head. Malty, grainy, slightly sweet aroma with a malty, metallic finish. Not bad.

On tap in Winston-Salem, NC. A nice, average amber. Decently balanced between caramel malts and light hop flavors. Nothing special but better than I was expecting. I’d reccommend if you are in a Fox & Hounds (as other than Abq location I havent seen an overly strong beer list) Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - JAN 3, 2009
on tap an fox and the hound in lewisville, tx. poured a very nice reddish/amber with a white head that lasted the life of the beer. aroma was pretty basic with sweet caramel malt aroma. flavor was very much the same with some slight hops. a bit on the watery side also. overall not to bad at all. Draft at the Fort Worth location. I suppose the only reason I chose this was because it was something on the list I had not tried before. It was better than all the macro lagers on tap but nothing great. JonR888710 (999) - Cochabamba, BOLIVIA - JUL 3, 2008
Copper-red color with a white head. Smells of light malt, toffee and carbonated seltzer water. Taste is wet malt, caramel, toffee, very typical amber flavors here with the exception of trace cinnamon. Ending is dry, lemony hops fade and crackle the tongue. White lattice lacing all over the glass is impressive. Sampled on draught at Bailey’s Pub in Arlington, VA. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2011
Amber in color with a very small white head. Aroma is of malt and caramel. Taste is malty sweet with hints of caramel and bread.
