Draft pour - mild straw color - no head upon arrival. Aroma is sweet pear, and not much else, but its also not ’in your face’ and quite pleasant for a cider. Flavor is very similar...some dryness mid-sip offsets some of the general sweetness of the beverage, and the pear is not fake in the least, leading to quite a good drink. Palate is good for the style - I’d enjoy these every so often, a nice rendition of the style. Ed5388 (3487) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 4, 2013
On draft. Pours a crystal clear golden straw color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet apples and pears. Taste is much the same. Sweet apples, pears, grapes, with some slight tartness in the finish. Silverbush85 (65) - - MAY 31, 2013

Dry but very sweet. If you enjoy cider that tastes like soda, you'll enjoy this.

Tasted in 2010 or 2011 at Happy Gnome. This is not the black label Pacific Cider which does not have apple juice. I believe that this now retired version probably did have some apple in it.

Tap. This cider is light and crisp. The aroma is apple and at first, I thought I had been given the wrong pour. The taste however is of both apple and pear. Delicately balanced.
Additional notes: Crisp apple and pear flavor with a light finish. This has a real fruit flavor, like juice. Palate is a bit dry. This leaves you wanting more, and it is rather drinkable.
Pours clear pale yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma definitely has a lot of pear. It seems like very ripe pear with the amount of sweetness to it, but it’s not a thick or cloying though. There is also a bit of a candy aspect and some traces of vanilla and milk caramel. Medium crisp body with some sharp fizzy carbonation. The taste is much like the aroma, but it is a bit drier and peppery. The finish is clear, fruity and spicy. Nice pear cider. Bottled. Poured very light straw golden with a ring of white bubbles and nice effervescence.. looked about like what I wanted. The aroma picked up sweet, juicy pears and a touch of oak.. touches of nutmeg and other spices accented.. nice stuff. The flavor found a bunch of pears as well, with some artificial sweetener and vanilla accenting.. even sweeter on the finish. Light-bodied with prickly carbonation that moved it well across the palate.. just a little too sweet, but overall very tasty. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - FEB 16, 2011
Pours a clear pale golden with pear and bubble gum in the nose. Flavor is pear and apple sweetness, lightly tart, with a clean, dry finish. zathrus13 (1776) - Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA - FEB 7, 2011
Pours pale yellow. Aroma is pears and apples. Flavor is apples, pears. and sugar. Ends a little dry. Easy to drink. Aurelius (5371) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 2, 2011
Very nice crisp pear aroma with mild floral notes and just a touch of vinegar. Very pale, clear, gingerale color with a good label in a standard US longneck. Dry, slightly sour, crisp, just a tad of mustiness. Body was light and lost carbonation, mild sour finish. New Leaf Market.
