Growler filled at Joe Canal’s. Pours a clear light straw gold with a fizzy white head. Light bodied with a bit of carbonation, but not overly done, making for a crisp mouthfeel. Sweet and overripe green fruits- apples, pears, grapes- but leaning slightly towards a tart pear flavor. Pretty darn good for a perry. Definitely a nice sub for champagne. 12oz bottle. Pours a very light golden with a small quickly fadingwhite head. Aroma is very sweet pear, fruity and soft with a touch of sweet bread and bubble gum. Flavor starts with a touch of tartness and a growing sweetness before a sharp and still peary fruit note. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Not a bad perry MicroGrog (477) - FT: Stale Polotmavý in Queens, New York, USA - JAN 5, 2011
Bottle via New Beer from my traditional mix a six crap rate pack.
Ommegang anniversary glass. Sizzling champagne effervescence in place of any noticeable head. High-def clarity & vibrancy. Pale straw color.
Smells a whole lot like banana pudding & bubblegum. Not sure if that’s avoidable. A twinge of pear concentrate & powdered sugar. Bit of agave. Smells less false the more you sit with it.
Juice is much more restrained then the smell thankfully. Honest pear flavor, less banana, & minor amounts of plastic & clove. No crazy perfumes or false tannins. Bit of grape juice & savignon blanc. Citric bite turns softly sweet at the finish, but not before the sulfites become noticeable(decent penalty for that). Alcohol draws continuously & doesn’t mass itself for an attack at any point. Enough carbonation here & there to keep it right in between free-flowing & creamy in texture.
For six pack stuff, this is nice. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - DEC 24, 2010

Bottle from Cavie. Neon clear pour with no head. Very pear aroma, a little soapy, sweet. Taste is apple, pear, tart, and a sweetness that I actually like.

Bottle courtesy drowland. Very clear straw yellow color. Aroma is sweet, lots of pear and sugar tart. Flavor is sweet pear, acidic tart, perfume, and candy necklace. Interesting, and a good perry. Maybe a little much on the sweet candy notes. Dojewacker (1) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 7, 2010 does not count

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow with fast fading little white fizzy head. Aroma smells just like a sour apple Jolly Rancher, gives the impression of extract being used. Now, the flavor is another story, fresh pear with just a touch of sweetness. Mouth feel is light body, some what soft with high carbonation. Overall, a pretty tasty cider.
