Our Hard Pear Cider is a dryer, soft bodied cider which is light and refreshing. Its an excellent candidate in situations where you might consider a dry Gewurtztraminer or champagne. Excellent with fruits, cheeses and salads, this light beverage is also a great brunch choice. Try it with orange juice for a "Fox-mosa".
Note: Do NOT confuse with the Pacific Pear Cider!

Smells fantastic, like a perry should. Tastes sweet and slightly soda-like. Could probably use a little more carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid cider.

Draft @ The Bistro, Hayward, CA. Pours a pale slighlty greensih color with no head. Has a sweetish pear aroma. Fruity sweetish pear flavor with some citric hints. Crisp fruity pear finish.

Pours like a white wine very light in color. Aroma is pears. Taste is like a light champagne mixed with pear juice. Easy drinking and refreshing. Label indicates pear juice added and contains sulphites like almost all wines. They are used as a sterilizing agent. Since I dont get along with sulphites it went down the drain. Ironically I received it in a "Beers of the World" twelve pack.

pours a very flat looking, light clear champagne color. Smell is very thin and watery, with light cider like fruit aroma, perhaps. Taste is dry, and delicate. Somewhat thin and watery with pear and champagne like flavor with soft carbonation. Thin body. Pretty drinkable.

Wow, this stuff is actually good, unlike most of the other ciders I’ve tried. Tastes of pears and a little apple, with a champagne character in the mouth. Not great, but pleasant.

Looks like a white wine with a little bit of fizz to it. Has no head at all, and the bubbles are gone after a minute. The aroma is probably the most interesting thing about this strange liquid. It smells very sweet, like pear flavored gummy candies. Flavor is weak. It’s like water with a little bit of sugar and pear juice added. This is quite drinkable, but that’s not saying much.

From tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach. Pours clear and pale greenish yellow with a fully diminished head. Citric pear aroma. Flavour is clean and crisp sweet pears with a nice lingering acidic/citric flavour into the finish. Ends quite fruity and citric. Nice, although I guess the heat at this place helped me enjoy this one more than I would have done anywhere else.

Bottle. Very pale yellow body that reminded me of champagne. The aroma was light pear and a little bit vinous. The taste was like cheap canned pears with some hints of spice. There was also some woody dryness. A fast finish, this fades quickly.

Into this one! White winey aroma. Lots of pear, white grape, and sparkling chardonnay flavors throughout. Just dry and sweet enough. Mildy carbonated. Good stuff!

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2011 The aroma is just pears. The appearance is straw gold with a fizzy head that fades away so fast. The flavor is sweet with pears and a little alcohol. The palate is watery. Overall I like it but there isnt much to it.
