Our Hard Pear Cider is a dryer, soft bodied cider which is light and refreshing. Its an excellent candidate in situations where you might consider a dry Gewurtztraminer or champagne. Excellent with fruits, cheeses and salads, this light beverage is also a great brunch choice. Try it with orange juice for a "Fox-mosa".
Note: Do NOT confuse with the Pacific Pear Cider!

Received 12-oz bottle from Liquid Solutions.biz in Portland, Oregon. Pours a clear sparkling golden yellow cider with no head or ring. Aroma of light sweet pears, some apple character, and a touch of dark berries. Taste is spritzy, light bodied, some semi-sweet pear and apple flavors with a touch of citrus zest. Finish is semi-dry, crisp pear cider character with a near clean aftertaste after the finish.

22 oz bottle from BevMo: Pale clear chardonnay color with no head. Aroma is sweet pear. Flavor starts fruity with apple and pear, kinda chardonnay like, with a light citric bitterness in the finish. Light body is kinda dry with lively carbonation.

bomber from beverage store on camp pendleton near main gate, flute glass / fizzy pour, straw body, nearly no white head; not really soft bodied, actually--definitely pear, obviously... not quite near champagne; personally, it needs a creamier yet sharp mouthfeel with much more bubbles...

Bottle. Pours light transparent yellow. Tiny fizzy head that crackles like a freshly poured coke. smell is light and tangy more of apples than pear. Kind of an acidic note in the nose. The taste is dryer than I expected with a good taste of pear and an acidic squelch in the back of the throat. Palate is light and lively with carbonation going wild in the mouth. This is a pretty good but not great.

12 oz bottle shared by Enniskillen from Johns Marketplace; Nose of pear juice; translucent pale yellow with a few bubbles on the snifters sides; flavor of pear, you can almost detect the stone cells; very slightly tart, not sweet.

12oz bottle. Poured a light a clear yellow color with almost no head. Wow, talk about a fresh pear aroma. Some light apples in the background, but this one was all pears. Tastes of pears and apples. I really dont like pears or ciders for that matter, but I liked this one.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2007 This is one of the best ciders Ive had. It is a bit sweet, but not as sweet as many, and the flavour and taste are fruity and very good. It is crisp and clean
