Standard across the board and light in color and body, but with a soft palate and color that is pleasantly pear if not very complex or exciting. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 1, 2014
22oz bottle, shared with Kevin B. Forget where I picked this up from - my local Kroger, maybe. Mostly hazy amber orange color. No head. Tastes very flat, very little carbonation. I’m drinking pear juice, basically. Medium body. Lightly dry finish. Good moderate sweet taste, nice mild tart. Good lightly spicy flavor, some lightly musty champagne type yeast aromas. OK pear cider, but this bottle seems as if it’s got to be flawed Patrickctenchi (6591) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Pours slightly hazy, old gold with a white ring.
Scent is pear, a hint of yeast.
Taste is mild, light pear...sweet, just on the edge of tart.
A slight whiff of vinegar.
Refreshing. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Hazed applecot with no head. Sweet aroma of pear, skins, spices, fruit and some cinnamon. Dry and tart with lots of pear, caramel and some floral notes, this one is okay. SoylentBlack (123) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - OCT 31, 2013
My first pear cider. Very cloudy. A nice bitter at the beginning that mellows into a fruity sweetness.

murky light brown, appears to be still. lightly ripened pear, spice ,fermented sugar, earth, white grape, slight solvent. lightly sweet. light body, slick feel. i don’t have much to compare this to, honestly, since i’ve never had a perry before. this didn’t exactly inspire me to seek any out, though Tmoney99 (14494) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear light pale color with a minimal sparkling white head that mostly diminished with virtually no lacing. Medium pear fruit aroma. Light to medium body with a thin smooth dry texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet pear flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Worth having once. vyvvy (6478) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Pours very hazy dark dirty blonde. The aroma has somewhat dry pear, mushiness, earthy and a touch of sourness and leather. It has a medium / full body with light somewhat soft carbonation. The flavor begins with mush pear and alcohol (didn’t expect this at 5.3%), dirtiness and a touch of a Belgian-y sort of thing. The finish is a bit astringent. Decent perry, but not my favorite. b3shine (8875) - Indiana, USA - APR 18, 2013
Bomber to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks alright; definitely unfiltered though. A cloudy golden-brown with light carbonation. Smells of pear and vinegar. Tastes like true pear with a nice, soft champagne-like mouthfeel. Not bad, but they could clean it up a but to make it better. LePistoir (10) - Alabama, USA - APR 3, 2013
Slight carbonation. Not too sweet. Moderate alcohol (5.3%). Yellow gold color with unfiltered elements of yeast etc. A little heavier viz a viz Crispin original. Ingredients show pear juice added to pear cider so not just fermented pear. Acid/sweetness balance great for salty and tangy foods such as salad with vinaigrette and sharp cheeses. Might drink again...if it goes on sale.
