Bottle; poured a ruddy, gold color with a small, whitish head. Aroma had some wine like qualities; pears, cleaning supplies, and alcohol. Flavor was not all that enjoyable. Pears and alot of weird elements. Not sure I liked this all that much. CritterChris (2) - North Carolina, USA - MAR 23, 2013 does not count
Pours a cloudy dark gold with a bit of effervescence. Not too sweet. Good flavor and just a hint of carbonation. Nice for sitting on the patio on a spring day.

Head is initially very small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing.
Body is hazy dark yellow.
Aroma is notes of rubber cement, fusel alcohols (acetone, etc.), plastic, rotting vegetables, sawdust, sulfur, hint of apple.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter, unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.
Absolutely horrific nose that’s basically a chemical bath...wretched industrial phenols and higher alcohols, hardly anything else...especially pear/apple-ish odor, where is that??? Unbelievable. One of the worst cider/perry products I’ve ever come across. obguthr (6656) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Mazel Tov! I have finally gotten around to trying this. Apple, vinegar, plastic aroma. Cloudy old gold. Texture is very light, ethereal. Apple and vanilla flavor. Chemical plastic notes are less evident than in the aroma, but present nonetheless. Texture is fantastic as it seems to completely evaporate the instant it reaches the tongue. On the other hand, the flavor and aroma are slightly tainted. aplus01 (74) - North Carolina, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Cloudy golden color with minimal head. Smell is slightly vinegary and a bit like ripe pear. Taste is tart pear with minimal carbonation has pear sweetness at the start but finishes dry.

This is pretty disappointing to me. Some pear flavors and while thankfully not oversweet, the actual body just doesn’t taste that good. Certainly not at $7 a bottle. drowland (9057) - Georgia, USA - FEB 13, 2013
2/14/13. 22oz bomber from Whole Foods. Followed the instructions on the bottle and gave it a swirl before pouring. Very murky pour with no head whatsoever. Big straight up pear aroma with a touch of yeast. Slightly sweet pear juice entry with a hint of tartness and yeast. A touch if dry in the end, but mostly lingering pear. Not bad. Bomber. Pours fizzy turbid straw colored with minimum off-white head. Nose is rich earthy apple, cinnamon, honey. Tastes rich, earthy, with a crisp apple flavor. Not too tart or too sweet, with notes of honey, cinnamon, and fresh baked pie crust in the finish. DeputyAndy (636) - Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Bottle. Pours an apple juice color with no head, but lots of fizz. Aroma smells exactly like the juice from canned/fruit cupped pears.Taste is very sweet with a slight alcoholic bite. Almost a sour flavor. Very nice and sweet. Wife likes it. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Poured a rather murky gold with brown hints. Honestly not even remotely attractive. Aroma was lightly of pear and somewhat spicy notes. Flavor was also pleasant pear, moving into some sort of fruity esters and light spice, presumably from the Forbidden Fruit yeast. The finish was a surprise, with quite a bit of vanilla. Very interesting brew, glad I tried it. Probably better than this score indicates.
