The head is ok, the body blond and clear. It smells sweet, malty. The taste is sweet, malty, a bit flowery. In the aftertaste fruity, bitter, a bit mild. Ok. 11/11/10/10/-/11

Last beer of the evening at the Bull & Castle in Dublin, then hit the bus stop with my bro before a bum came up behind him and watched him take a piss .. . Pours a deep yellow gold .. mild head, lacing was quite good .. . an easy drinker, hay and sweet mild grain .. . done right for a session .. . . i’m not superstitious but i am a little stitious..

On tap at O’Niels in Dublin, Ireland. Pours a cloudy gold color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet spicy malt. Taste is slightly dry with overtones. Palate is dry as well.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear pale golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of mild hops and bready malt. Light body with flavors of herbal hops and sweet malt. There is a touch of citrus there too. The finish is lightly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

At the source pours a translucent blonde with a small head. Very little aroma. Tastes smooth with a slight bittering at the end.

Almost no aroma. Clear with a very thin head. High carbonation leaves tounge tingling at the finish. Not very interesting overall.

Draught at O’Neills, Dublin. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Fruity nose with sligh tspicy hops. Light bodied with clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Slight salty bitterness. A straightforward beer, more in line with the commercial examples of kölsch than the more traditional ones.

sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 8, 2011
Draft @ O’Neills, Dublin.

jgb9348 (6249) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 1, 2011
Crystal clear gold coloured body with a large white head and tons of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Aroma of malt, soap and clean fresh hops. Light-bodied; Mild malty flavour showing some yeast, a bit of sugars and a nice drying taste. Aftertaste shows some sugars, a dash of light german hops and a maltiness which lasts on the palate. Overall, a nice beer to try in Ireland, but not an amazing beer. Stick with Galway Hooker if you only get one here. I sampled this pint on draught at the Bull & Castle in Central Dublin, Republic of Ireland on 20-February-2009.

Blonde colour. Mossy-herbal hop aroma. Soft, modest bitterness and some light leafy hops. Decent, fairly straightforward beer.
