Draft @ O’Neills, Dublin.

[2176-20090520] Tap. Sweet fruity yeast aroma with strawberry or raspberry leaves. Clear, medium orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Some banana esters and green twigs flavour with mild sweet floral cardboard corn notes. Medium body is tangy. Seems fresh, average.

330ml from Supervalu Newry, drank in Crossmaglen watching Eurovision. Bottled March 2015 at 4.7%. Hazy orange, sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is resin, bubblegum, glue, musty wheat and straw. A bit chemically and pungent. Body is medium, slightly foamy, soft carbonation. Taste is hay, resin, soft ester, dry and wheaty. Average at best.

Decent mild and nice hefe weisse. Quite session able and easy to drink.
Hazy yellow golden color with a fine white head. Wheat, some banana, yeast and mild clove. Ok balanced. Tad sweet. Ok body and a fine carbonation.

Draft pour. The beer is a hazy gold with a big white head of foam. Very strong retention. The beer has notes of sweet fruits and dough. They claim toffee notes, but i cant pick up on them. Mild sweetness in the taste and medium carbonation.

On the nose this was very yeasty and lacking in fruit. However on the taste there is all the expected banana and spice. A game of 2 halves.

Braudog (6852) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Draft at the brewpub, even served in a nice weizen glass. Straight outta Munich, this
delivers the requisite banana, clove and yeast. Very well done and smack dab in style. (#3666, 9/13/2009)

33cl bottle from Tesco’s, Camberley. Hazy amber with a billowing white head; hint of banana and cloves an the aroma; sweet grainy body with a touch of spice. True to style, but not very exciting.

minutemat (6133) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2017
330ml can @ AMF Bowling, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazy golden yellow, medium white head. Aroma has some lightly spicy citrus. Taste is smooth with subtle weiss yeast, lightly sweet, soft spice. Fairly easy-going for a hefe, but given as I expected nothing but lager here I have no complaints
