Nice hoppy beer, had it at the gingerbread in Dublin on tap. Hops really do their job here... ryanscourt (1518) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2014
Funky nose but tastes well. Descent pale ale , IPA a much stronger showing though. culchiem (4101) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2013
Cask at Kavanaghs. Reddish amber with no head. Aroma is flat grassy hop. Flavour is dull bitterness, that kinda turns sour. Sweetish start, sour finish, not very pleasant to be honest. ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 22, 2013
Draught at the bleeding horse. Grainy nose, a little biscuit malt. Nice mellow caramel and biscuit middle. Soft carbonation, medium light body. Nice finish, similar to the flavour. estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - JUL 29, 2013

On cask. Appearance: golden orange. Small white head. Aroma: grassy, almost fishy aroma, a lot of malt with an odd meat like aroma. Flavour: bitter, super light mouthfeel, quite bitter with a long grassy finish. Very odd. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 9, 2013
The head is ok, the body golden-orange. It smells hoppy, a bit fruity, less malty, decend. The taste is hoppy, bitter, grapefruit, hoppy, a bit malty. Easy drinkable Pale Ale. 11/12/11/11/-/11 Creedence (312) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2013
Draught at Franciscan Well. Pours a nice hazy golden, with a pillowy white head. Aroma is caramel, grass, floral citrus and just a little bit of soap. Light nutty sweetness, medium bitterness. Citrus dry hop finish which isn’t overbearing. Lively carbonation. This is a fine beer, and there’s nothing wrong with it, per se, but it’s just that bit underwhelming, much like the rest of the Well’s regulars. Deu (948) - Nantes, FRANCE - FEB 4, 2013
On tap at a beer festival in Dublin. English American style IPA. Nice. I will try it again. But I still recommend it Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and citrus. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering citusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
