2009-05-20. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. Flavour has pleasant moderate hops throughout, floral noble hops, light hoppy bitterness with just a touch of grassy notes. (6+) Aroma is mild to moderate, pleasant mild floral hops. (6+) Average to light bodied. Bit mild/light but pleasant, quaffable. Draught. Decent pour, good white head, and fairly durable with it. Mild hops on the nose, with some sweet malt and yeast too. Pleasant on the tongue, with rounded corners on the palate of cereal and hops. Decent lager. Rune (13494) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2008
Very nice appearance with its crystal clear and deep red-brown body. Sweet malty aroma carrying through to a caramel taste with weak hoppy notes. So and so (Cask, my first one, at GBBF, 05.08.2008).

@ Franciscan Well: Clear golden, short lasting head. Weak malty notes of fruit and some hops. Sweet and very short bitter end. KnutAlbert (6791) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 21, 2008
Draft at Bull and Castle, Dublin.
Clean and crisp, malty and well hopped. A nice lager. It would not have stood out in Germany, but it is way better then the macro competition in Ireland.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2008 Clear yellow with a foamy white head. Fairly sweet grassy aroma. Biscuit malt flavour, virtually no bitterness and very sweet. I know this mightn’t sound nice but I liked this. larsga (7652) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 24, 2008
Medium white head. Pale yellow body with carbonation. Light mealy rubbery aroma. Dry mealy fruity malt taste. Dry chalky aftertaste. A bit watery. Nice, but nothing special. (0.3l draft, Bull & Castle, Dublin, St. Patrick’s Day.) KimJohansen (10497) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2008
[Draught at Bull & Castle] Clear golden with tiny head. Aroma has grassy notes. Watery with light bitterness. Boring.... User37895 (3085) - - OCT 19, 2007
Draft at Bull and Cork, Dublin. The pour was golden-amber type color with some carbonation, a weak initial head, weak lacing. The aroma was light grainy malts and grass. The flavor was light malts, some grainy and bready aspects, immediately followed by an unexpected grassy hoppiness, light-pilsner like, somewhat of the Munich lager style here, more than a pale lager going on for sure. Not bad, yet not that fancy or exciting in the big world of beer. bluevegie (3938) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 13, 2006
Franciscan Well 17/05/06. Clear light golden body, soft buttery malt taste also with some pleasant bitterness and grassy which was also on the nose. For a lager I quite liked this one.
