This was an English pint at Oil Can Harry’s pub in central Dublin, Ireland. There is nothing quite like a draft beer for freshness. In the glass it was a reddish amber with a white head and very sticky lacing on the glass. Nose is floral hops with ripe fruit. Medium in body with a very smooth abd creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is rich and the hops and malts are in good balance. and the finish is lightly bitter. Very nice beer and is so smooth in the mouth it seems almost like it came from a cash, not a keg.

Redish brown colour, delightfully drinkable and best drank directly from tap at the Franciscan Well. If you are ever in Cork this is a great place to enjoy a whole wide range of interesting beers. Summary of Rebel Red Ale: A beer that while it has a craft beer nature seems refined enough as if it has a century of tradition.

tomer (3481) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - AUG 23, 2014
At a tasting, small stable creamy head, quite clear dark red colour, malty caramel aroma with some barnyard notes, fruity caramel flavour, light to medium strong herbal bitterness. Nice and satisfying.

Dark amber brown appearance with medium head. Fruity and malty aroma, medium bitterness, slight roast on the mouth. Good Irish Ale.

Tayeth (643) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - AUG 13, 2014
Geruch nach Äpfeln, Karamell, und ein bisschen nach Keksen. Geschmack einerseits geprägt durch Malz andererseits durch sehr angenehm harmonisierte Hopfennoten.

Poured pint in oneills pub on Pearce street Dublin. Decent red ale, nothing perceived in the nose. Taste hints at a lot of things without delivering much on any level. What we’re left with it is a perfectly serviceable Irish Red ale.

Franciscan Well Rebel Red has a thick, off-white head, a mostly clear, rust-red appearance, some visible white sediment roiling about, and thin lacing left behind. The aroma is of slightly sweet bread crust, some caramel, and a touch of citrus. Taste is of those elements, with tea qualities and a decent and noticeable, yet mild, bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Franciscan Well Rebel Red finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT

Tipica red ale amb el seu sabor intens. No es el meu estil pero d’aquest tipus es de les que m’ha agradat mes.

BeerViking (4710) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2014
Tap, red with a light malty-sweet nose, nutty-sweet palate, a little hoppiness coming through in the finish.

Picked up at Tesco Extra Miltpn Keynes, Saturday 24th May 2014 consumed at home Sunday 1st June 2014 Pretty boring really, I wanted to leave it at that but felt I should at least explain why. Pours reddy dark amber with off-white head. Lots of tinny flavours and toffee. Bit chewy, bit boring, actually a lot boring, its boring. A5 A3 T6 P3 Ov11 2.8
