Good caramel and malt aroma. Thick creamy head and very clear. Very nice roast and caramel flavors. A bit thin and leaves mouth dry at the finish, but I could drink this all night.

Simple Red Ale. Not many real flavours. It’s a bit to plain for me. Like some other Franciscan beers better ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ElDesmadre (3984) - Mikołów, POLAND - DEC 29, 2017
Draught at the brewpub, August 2016. Caramel, wort, butter, light floral, raisins, green hop notes in the aftertaste. A bit flawed yet certainly not bad.

Luvystypotables (2099) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 25, 2017
A sweet malt and caramel aroma, pours a color of burnt caramel with a short lasting tan head, moderate carbonation, however goes flat quickly. Taste is sweet malt and a hint of caramel, watery mouth feel with a sugary sweet malt finish.

CanCrusher (1178) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - DEC 10, 2017
Bottle 0,33L. Clear, ruby brown color with huge, frothy, long lasting head and lively visible carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, cherries. Taste starts light acidic with apple notes, while aftertaste is light bitter with caramel touch. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.

ianwelby (1566) - SCOTLAND - DEC 1, 2017
Clear red, white head. Clear red. Apple, berries, hop, some malt. Smooth, fruity, crisp. It's not amazing but it's thoroughly and drinkably decent.

Keg at Market Porter, Borough Market. Sweet floral aroma, with malts. Chestnut. Dregs of an off-white head. Somewhat sweet, with a sour streak. Light bodied and thin. Fizzy carb. Finish leaves a syrupy aftertaste. Not keen on this kinda sweet and sour. Average as feck.
