Wasn’t tooo impressed by this one, taste was burnt/tobacco, palate seemed lagery.

Fairly bitter creamy stout. Bitter hops with roasted character provide the principal flavour. Decent stout

Keg at Waxy O’Connor’s, London. Black with a red hue, big creamy head, full thick lacing. Aroma is soft smoked bacon, roast malts. Body is light, smooth, tingly carbonation. Pretty thin, but the creamy head adds body. Taste is a touch lactic, bready, some ash and salt in the finish. Decent stout, very drinkable. I quite like it, but Teresa’s dad says "no".

Caña en Waxy O’Connors zona Picadilly Circus. Londres. 06..11..2015. (r53). Color negro con espuma oscura. Aromas y sabores maltosos bastante tostados con toques ahumados e incluso quemados. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber con cierta densidad y algo de espuma. Buena. Para repetir.

Pour on tap at Hagadorn Bros, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of roast, acidic malt, some chocolate, coffee, slight nutty note. Taste was a mix of cocoa, roast, coffee, acidic malt, hints of nuts, finishing fairly bitter.

Keg at the red squirrel. Pours black with a nice tight beige head. Light coffee aromas. Taste is dry, not much going on, a bit watery.

Keg at O’Neills, Dublin. It pours a dark brown color with a light off-white head. Aroma is muddy and lightly roasty, with notes of toasted malts, caramel, earth. Taste is medium sweet with more dark chocolate, lactose, roasted malts. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, nice sweet stout

Draught. Nice deep brown-black appearance with tan head. Nose of coffee, some malts - no one aroma. Easy first taste of gentle roasted coffee with slight bitterness coming through.

Keg in Sherlock’s, Middlesbrough. Pours black with a cream head. Some roasty flavour - coffee and mild chocolate. A pretty average stout.

A decent stout. Lovely aroma and appearance on tap @ the Southern in Edinburgh but taste left much to be desired. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
