Keg at ONeills, Dublin. It pours a dark brown color with a light off-white head. Aroma is muddy and lightly roasty, with notes of toasted malts, caramel, earth. Taste is medium sweet with more dark chocolate, lactose, roasted malts. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, nice sweet stout

Draught. Nice deep brown-black appearance with tan head. Nose of coffee, some malts - no one aroma. Easy first taste of gentle roasted coffee with slight bitterness coming through.

A decent stout. Lovely aroma and appearance on tap @ the Southern in Edinburgh but taste left much to be desired. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

watery caramel aromas, looks like a guiness, rich and smooth quite well rounded with caramel flavours. a bit watery but alright...... but it didnt end there oh no, you get further down the pint and all the flavour vanishes and i could have been drinking black evian for all i knew.

Tap at EBBC14, black with a lasting cream head and aromas of roasty coffee. Dry, roasty palate, watery or maybe milky in the middle, then a dry burnt bitterness with a touch of dark cocoa. Intriguing variation on the style.
