Creedence (309) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 26, 2013
Draught at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a lovely dark cloudy brown with a thinnish tan head that remains for duration of pint. Aroma is quite prominent for a nitroed stout, with strong chocolate and coffee hints. Taste is a nice medium sweetness followed by a medium roasty bitterness - roasted malts, coffee and a hint of chocolate are present. Palate is quite dry, full bodied, and offers a lingering roasty bitterness. Quite a good deal better than I remembered. Deu (948) - Nantes, FRANCE - MAR 25, 2013

Sample at the brewpub. Pours flat black with a medium creamy tan head that recedes slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt and coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty character of coffee and malt, plus a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent all around. omhper (24962) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2012

Pint from the cask at the B&C (dry hopped). Pitch black with bubbled tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, tobacco, ever so slight hop zing from the dry hopping. Taste is full of roasted smokey malt, with coffee, bitter dark chocolate, and earthy hop notes featuring too. Such a powerful tasting stout that the dry hopping doesn’t really get the chance to work its magic fully, but there are flickers of citrus notes here and there, a more pronounced earthy bitterness, and a definite tang in the otherwise dry aftertaste. This is great from the cask no doubt about it. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 22, 2011
Near black with a nitro head. Chocolatey and slightly liquoricey aroma. Deep fruity character with some light chocolate. A little bit of roasty tartness in the finish. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 9, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Nitro pour. Black with ruby tint. Aroma is oats and chocolate. Mild aroma. Soft palate. Balanced and drinkable with just the right touch of roast in the finish, very Irish. Lingering mochaccino finish. Braudog (6669) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 19, 2009

Roast and some fruit aroma. Dark red coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with some alcohol present. A little dryness and bitterness in a crisp finish.
