Keg @ Rising Sons brewpub, Cork [120416]
Black, rich creamy dense oatmeal colour head
Aroma - Slight roast, very little aroma
Taste os soft mellow roast, soft sweet dark malts, dab of dark chocolate, nice soft flavour
Palate - Very soft nitro carb, medium body, smooth, mellow bitterness. Finish has a delayed soft bitter toast
Overall - Decent nitro stout - well made

Beersiveknown (5301) - NORTHERN IRELAND - FEB 14, 2015
Keg @ rising sons
opaque deep ruby brown with foamy light brown head. Rich cocoa and toasted barley on nose. Smooth, full bodied with gentle carbonation, toasty+ roasty, coffee, chocolate, lactose. Good archetype dry stout.

Ramjet15 (1) - Mallow, IRELAND - DEC 12, 2014 does not count
Fairly insipid stout, smooth is about the best attribute. No real bite. Only thing to distinguish from Murphys is the lack of coffee and sugar. Dissapointed

johnth (22) - - MAY 24, 2014
Draught in Cork. Pure black, white draught head. Very good stout version. Could drink this all day.

garthicus (2936) - Dublin, IRELAND - FEB 28, 2014
On tap at Farringtons. Appearance: nitro brown pour, settles to black with a thick cream head. Aroma: slight chocolate, quite malty. Not a strong aroma. Flavour: A nice flavourful malt with hints of chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bitter finish. Superbly executed pint of stout. Could drink it all day.

culchiem (4064) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 2, 2014
Draught at Farringtons. Jet black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is a bit odd, sour cabbage. Flavor is better, black currant hints on a solid smokey light burnt coffee, creamy and dry. Nice

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 9, 2013
The head is fantastic, the body black. It smells roasty, creamy, mild. The taste is a bit roasty, creamy, roasty-coffe, bit mild, could be more intensive. 15/10/11/11/-/11

scwalchy (2) - IRELAND - MAY 30, 2013 does not count
Pours Jet Back with a standard Nitro Stout head. Slight coffee aroma. Slight coffee taste initially that develops into a beautify slightly sweet coffee flavour. As good an Irish stout as there is.

J_pac (4) - Cork, IRELAND - MAY 30, 2013 does not count
Black pour with a thick thick cream head. An aroma that can only be described as sweaty. Tastes wonderful though, some immediate hops on the palate and makes up for the smell with a clean, creamy aftertaste. Overall, very good stout.
