In 1800, our great great grandfather Schaubert began our family’s heritage at his Franken Braue Brewery in Tanna, Germany. Today, our rich tradition of naturally brewing authentic German style Bier using the purest ingredients is carried on at Franconia Brewing Company in the heart of McKinney, Texas.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2017 Nice brown color. No head. Nice aroma . Awful Taste. I actually looked on the bottle to see if the beer was old. It gets better after a few drinks but it never gets good.

This is not a bad beer nor is it a great beer, just something to pass the time. Drink it at your discretion ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium brown color with medium carbonation. Nice malty sweet aroma. Medium body that is a little sweet from the malt. Filling finish. Almost like liquid bread and above average.

12 oz bottle. Poured an deep amber color and slightly unfiltered with a thin tan head. Taste of caramel malts, sweet malts, and dough. Low-medium carbonation, medium body. Wow, very surprised by this beer. One of the better offerings from Franconia and a damn fine amber.

kevinator (2887) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JUL 9, 2014
One of their better beers. Deep amber brown color with a small white head. Aroma was slightly sweet and malty. Medium-weight palate with low carbonation. Pretty smooth. Robust flavor with caramel and roasted malts. The hops bitterness was low. Good beer.

Poured a pretty deep russet. Medium head. Nose of sweet malt in a good way. In the mouth it is a tiny bit thin but the flavours of mixing malts is nice.
