Bavarian Style Wheat Beer. This beer has a large popularity in particular in southern Germany. Using an original German yeast strain in the brewing process contributes to the natural fruity flavor of Banana, Orange and Cloves, giving it a outstanding refreshing taste. Our Wheat Beer comes unfiltered leaving all the natural goodness in it.

Tap at Yard House in Houston. Clear golden pour with a smaller white head. Clove, yes, but also vegetal. This is pretty bad, actually.

A good authentic tasting German style hefeweizen and it has the required banana and cloves taste which many american versions are lacking. Too bad I couldn’t finish the six pack before it spoiled.

Bottle to glass. Not sure overall; will need to try again. Much citrus in aroma. Very cloudy orange amber pour Nice. Taste was ?.. I got tartness mid sip some hefe some wheat flavors but tartness wasn’t expected

Bottle. Pours a lovely rich gold with a fine-grained white head and visible carbonation. Nose is banana, papaya, clove, allspice, a touch of smoke, and grain. Really vivid flavored; clean and crisp, tropical without being sweet, and hearty. Finish is long and elegant. Very well made.

Pours a cloudy golden color with white head. Raw wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Not much else there, but not all bad.

Hazy yellow orange pour. Smell is banana bubblegum and wheat. Taste is banana spiced yeast with lemony finish and wheat. Rich body and soft carbonation. Would like a touch more prickle. Overall a very well made and tasty wheat beer.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Initially pours a clear, golden color until the bottom of the bottle - which is covered with sediment. Ends up cloudy with a small 1/2 finger head that didn’t last. It Smells and taste quite different for a hefe but it has got good character. Some banana, and clove come thru as well as a strong yeast flavor. Outstanding wheat beer!

Pours a fairly clear straw yellow. Minimal white head. Aroma is really nice. Wheat and some yeast. Freshly mowed grass. Slightly sweet. Medium bodied. Finishes somewhat sweet. Nice.

This unfiltered offering from our local brewery is one of my favorites. Not your typical hefe. Herbal and citrus notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Hazy yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is of orange lemon, lightly tart, and banana. Taste is of tart lemon, orange, clove and light spices.
