Bavarian Style Wheat Beer. This beer has a large popularity in particular in southern Germany. Using an original German yeast strain in the brewing process contributes to the natural fruity flavor of Banana, Orange and Cloves, giving it a outstanding refreshing taste. Our Wheat Beer comes unfiltered leaving all the natural goodness in it.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, ivory head, with some lacing, over a cloudy yellow (SRM 3) body...nose is cereal, vague hints of banana, lemon....taste is cereal, light clove, minimal banana, finishing with a vague, ginger clove....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation adds light tingle. The yeast did a very minimal job creating the appropriate esters and phenolics, making for a rather dull Hefe. Perhaps a change in yeast would help. BJCP 5/2/9/4/5

I enjoyed this beer. The lighter beers never rate that high because of the lack of complexity. However, the taste was pleasant with a light banana flavor with a decent, not bitter, finish.

Bottle:   Dirty straw, little to no head, nor lacing.   Soft wheat and sulphur on the nose.   Smells a bit fartish.   Actually moreso Dank.   Moderately sweet mealiness up front.   No clove or banana to speak of.   To me it also has a faint bit of cod roe flavor to it, tart yet a little sweet.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes not like a German Hefe... but more like a... yeah, I guess not like anything else.   Not like any German Wheat I have had.   Don’t care to have again.   Thanks Bill!

Bottle. Poured a slightly unfiltered yellow color with a thin white top, minimal lacing. Taste of watered down clove, banana and orange peel. Thin watery palate, mild carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden color with a white head . Smells of bananas and bubblegum and tastes like honey and fruits. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to crajun for the trade! Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a smallish white head. The aroma is more like an American wheat than a German Hefe. Very little clove/banana, just a spicy wheat aroma. The flavor follows the aroma. OK but not outstanding.

Hazy gold with some sediment bits floating around in it. Smells of wheat with some spices. Taste is very traditional wheat brew. Very good wheat and a bit less priced than athers of this quality. Got a sampler this time around but next time will be getting it in six packs.

The aroma is a bit funky - wheat and spice, along with the suggestion of honey. Pours, from the bottle, a cloudy lemon yellow with no head and moderate lacing. A grainy wheat flavor dominates the taste. Also present is the taste of cloves, but bananas and orange are not detected. Low hop bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation. Round, smooth mouthfeel. Overall, while refreshing and drinkable, this was not a good example of a Hefeweisen

Bottle from ToLo’s in Allen, TX. Pours a muddy yellow with a large white head. The aromas are Bananas, Cloves, bubblegum. The mouthfeel is bready, dryish and has a light body and great carbonation. This is a SUPER refreshing summer beer that is brewed (and taste) like the true German style. Great Beer! Cheers!

12 oz bottle. From Rosebud butternuts. Vielen Dank Eric!
Cloudy yellow golden colour with a small white head. Wheat, mild yeast, mild fruitiness and some maltiness. The flavour is wheat, malt, yeast and fruits. There is some yeasty bitterness. Soft carbonation. A bit thin. Leaning towards Wheat Ale.
