This is the ONLY beer that takes me back to when I was station in Germany in the Army. The two best about this beer are he naturally carbonates plus he believes in the Reinheitsgebot purity law, so you know what is in the beer. Hand down this is my favorite Wheat beer on the market. I just wish it was bottled so I could take some home. texrx (40) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 31, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Initially pours a clear, golden color until the bottom of the bottle - which is covered with sediment. Ends up cloudy with a small 1/2 finger head that didn’t last. It Smells and taste quite different for a hefe but it has got good character. Some banana, and clove come thru as well as a strong yeast flavor. Outstanding wheat beer! kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - NOV 10, 2010
Slightly cloudy, bright yellow, white head. Doughy banana flavor. Absolutely perfectly refreshing wheat taste with a hint of vanilla and banana and the perfect body and mouthfeel. Heavy lace and a satisying finish. There’s just no other way to put it. boomer0813 (100) - denton, Texas, USA - MAR 4, 2009

This unfiltered offering from our local brewery is one of my favorites. Not your typical hefe. Herbal and citrus notes.

Hazy gold with some sediment bits floating around in it. Smells of wheat with some spices. Taste is very traditional wheat brew. Very good wheat and a bit less priced than athers of this quality. Got a sampler this time around but next time will be getting it in six packs. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - JUN 6, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2009 Franconia Brewery. Poured a nice light cloudy yellow/orange with rich white head with very nice retention. Aroma of light lemon and orange citris, notes of banana. Flavor is very malty, hints of lemon & orange as well as banana. Body is medium mouthfeel with medium-high carbonation. Overall, I was pleasantly suprised, this is a very nice wheat beer. I look forward to trying more beers from them. dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Bottle from ToLo’s in Allen, TX. Pours a muddy yellow with a large white head. The aromas are Bananas, Cloves, bubblegum. The mouthfeel is bready, dryish and has a light body and great carbonation. This is a SUPER refreshing summer beer that is brewed (and taste) like the true German style. Great Beer! Cheers! legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2008
May be one of the best American Hefe’s that I have ever had. Very well done. There is a bit of the same sweetness that the Lager had, but much more restrained and much better placed. Good lacing and wonderful spice.
