Pours a straw gold yellow with thick white head, minimal lacing. Aroma of wheat, yeast, spices, clove, banana, and a slight toast. Flavor matches well and is very drinkable. I could definitely drink many of these and not get bored. Extra points for that.

Taste: Chewy, wheat, citrus, cloves, hint of sour fruit and yeast. wheat and orange peel spiced nose. Orange/Amber hue, mostly unfiltered, with a white head, only some lace. Medium/full body.

Hopper8 (205) - Holland, Michigan, USA - AUG 7, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2017 It should be better than it is. It's got a decent aroma, it's got the clove, but then other things are missing and in comes a certain unwelcome spiciness to it.

zubblwump (111) - Michigan, USA - MAY 1, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2016 Light golden brown with a big foamy head. A little cloudy. Nice light, sweet aroma. Feels a little thicker than I was expecting. Light wheat taste, sweet over-ripe fruit, with little bitterness, with an ok slightly bitter after taste. I generally like this style, but this particular brew was just ok for me.

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 8/10/2015. Pours hazy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and light-moderate yeast spiciness after the finish; with lingering notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish as well. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice hefeweizen style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
