Bottled 22/12/13. A dark brown headless beer with very low carbonation. Inspite of the seeming lack of condition on opening the bottle this was OK. Predominantly malty with some fruit and chocolate. Boozy elements. Tasty and drinkably pleasant. sdmmb (1858) - BELGIUM - NOV 22, 2013
Drunk from 50cl bottle. Dark rich ale. Quite hoppy and brewed with three different types of hops.

Bottle from Tesco drunk at home. Clear ruby colour dark brown thin very thin beige head. Malts are not great, some fruit, bit oxidised. Aroma of brown malt. Some dull everything. Not sure I want to finish this. Not good carbonation. Poor. richc (239) - Bolton, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2013
Enticing aroma with powerful raisin and sultana notes and a hint of dark, almost burnt caramel. Flavour follows aroma adding a gentle bitterness to balance the sweet notes. TrueSatan (4) - USA - JAN 7, 2013 does not count
Hint of coffee in the flavour and a beautiful blackcurrant and cinnamon aroma. Grass in the aftertaste. All in all an excellent ale and one I would seek out. I bought it from the brewery as I live nearby. A credit to our town!

Bottle from rhythm and booze Pudsey. Appearance not too enticing as it looks like flat coke. Has a nice malty flavour though and an aroma of burnt toast and malt. Its fairly smooth but really flat. Maybe I got a bad bottle! a_cross (639) - Poole, Dorset, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2012
Cask @ The Bermuda Triangle, Poole (a pub I can usually trust); deep amber-brown; bad, off, vinegary; a very long way from its best; seems unfair to rate a beer in this state but sadly I value my beers rated total over a beer’s reputation! rauchbier (3934) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Brigg. Deep ruby red, thin quickly dissipating fizzle white head and low condition. Sweet and fruity with hints of plum strawberry and gentle floral hoppiness, full bodied and plummy with touches of chalky roasted bitterness and some chocolate notes, tempered with a solid hoppiness, finish has hints of blackcurrant and chocolate and a lingering nutty bitterness. thepegjett (1281) - Cambridge (via Winnipeg), Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2012
fruity and caramel from a dark bitter. Mid body, with thin head. Sweet and mid hop bitter. Alright. imdownthepub (15334) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2011
Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Reddish amber with no head. A complete stinker, off, fruity. I really struggle with Whites / Edge / Franklins or whatever they are calling themselves.
