On cask at the Cask and Barrel.
Appearance - close to opaque black but not quite. Some lovely cherry coloured chinks around the glass. Lovely fawn head. Looks great
Nose - chocolate and caramel.
Taste - honey and/or caramel with a slight biscuits backdrop. A liquorice note brings on the finish.
Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry malty finish.
Overall - good beer. It grows too. kwik-lime (2012) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2014
Cask at The Antelope in Surbiton. Too thin of palate and the fruitiness was a bit overbearing to the point of being tart. Didn’t enjoy this one at all. jfb (6573) - GERMANY - MAY 23, 2014

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Amber with a loose cream head; light fruity aroma; tangy with slightly sour apple and pear flavours; and a crisp, drp, cidery, finish. Not at all bad.
