4 oz pour on draft at Franklins. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of toasty notes, biscuit, light citrus. Maybe a little plasticky smell, or maybe it’s just the name talking to me. Tastes of malt, light tropical fruit, citrus. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

On tap at Franklin’s Restaurant, Brewery & General Store in Hyattsville, MD, part of a flight of 10. Appearance is dark amber red to brown ruby clear body. Aroma is strong, with malt and sour dough bread, almost super sour. Taste is earthy, a bit too much for me. Palate like an Irish Red Ale. Its a decent beer, but Franklins has some others that are much better.
