Not as good as Crabbies. This is a bit sweeter and has less of a fiery kick. It’s OK, but nothing special. Price Paid: £1 a few years ago. Theydon_Bois (20437) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2013
Bottle at Craft Beer Clerkenwell thanks to Leighton ( I think), 09/03/13.
Pale golden with a thin white head.
Nose is ginger, sugars, spice.
Taste comprises root ginger, sweet sugars, artificial sweet tones, touch of caramel.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, sweet finish - way too sweet.

From DM’s. This is in no way ginger beer. Pale, clear and no head, it looks very miserable indeed. Soapy sweet creaming soda aroma and nothing taste. Another fake "ginger beer" and would be the worst effort out there. teorn88 (7687) - Rimini, ITALY - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London. It pours a deep orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and lightly spicey. Taste is sweet, ginger, not much spice. Not much going on. Don’t see the point of this beverage, but it’s not offensive in any way. mR_fr0g (13155) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2013
Sweet ginger aroma. Golden orange thin white head. Really sweet. Medium carbonation.

Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear vold with a fine, white foam head. Sugary ginger in the nose, some bread. Big sweet flavor, ginger, bread, light sharp finger spice. Medium bodied with carbonation. Very sweet finish, lots of sugar, some gingery spice. Not great. ALLOVATE (3055) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 7, 2013
Kind of over the fad of ginger beers the same way I am over the alcoholic apple juices plaguing the shelves, but sometimes I cannot help myself. This one produces up a filtered, medium gold sadly. Holds on with dear life a sudsy mess of a head that daubs a thick weave of lace. Toffeeish, sweet ginger pudding nose leaning more towards the pudding side. A little lime, vanilla and strawberry also making an appearance. Way too artificial on the palate for pleasure. What ’ginger’ it has seems little more than an E flavour additive. There is a butterscotch background that doesn’t fit and even the malt flavour seems reminiscent more of Horlicks™ than malted barley. Body is medium-light; the carbonation quite high yet it seems frumpy in mouthfeel and sickly heavy in the stomach. The worst of the modern ginger beers so far. Up from here I hope!! Poured a clear light golden amber colour with a thin white bubbly head that diminished very quickly and laced poorly. Low carbonation. Aroma of spicy ginger and a hint of malt. Taste of quite sweet earthy ginger. Light body. Spicy ginger finish. Quite refreshing. mkel07 (6239) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 5, 2013
500ml bottle fom Dan Murphy’s. Clear golden amber colour with a slight white head. The head quickly disappears to leave a faint ring of white around the edge of the glass. The aroma is all ginger which is to be expected and it leaves a musty smell in the nose. Thin bodied with not a lot of texture to it. Earthy ginger flavour is okay and leaves faint ginger burn in your mouth. SarkyNorthener (4765) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2012
Bottle from Asda. Pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma of ginger. The taste is a weaker than other Ginger beers that I have tried but it is Ok, just there are better out there.
