COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Bavarian Purity Law came into effect in 1516. When Bavaria joined Prussia to become part of the German Empire (Deutsches Reich) in the unification of 1871, one of the conditions was that the Bavarian beer purity law apply to all of Germany. Since then it was known as the GERMAN purity Law (Deutsches Reinheitsgebot).

Incidentally, the Purity Law stated that only 3 ingredients may be used for beer: Water, Hops & Barley. Weissbeer also has Yeast added, so is in fact in violation of this law.

zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2017
Bottle from Tesco, Gateshead. Hazy pale straw coloured with a very large white head of foam. It has a toffee, lemon and banana flavour followed by a thin slightly spicy, zesty finish. Very good for the ABV.

Overall not a bad alcohol free beer, one of the better ones. Taste quite similar to Franziskaner wheat beer, more watery and a bit more malty.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2017 cereal, citrus, banana, golden, cloudy, rocky head, white foam, medium sweetness, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, good beer

Taboada (1455) - Compostela (Galiza), SPAIN - AUG 31, 2017
500 mml bottle. Tasted on the 30/08/2017. Not bad for a Low Alcohol beer. Very grainy and yeasty with a slightly banana touch. Next one please!

Aus der Flasche getrunken (in die Drachenbootgruppe mitgebracht). Die Version mit Zitrone war sogar trinkbar.

foxo82 (927) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2017
Bottle from Sainsburys, Stourbridge. Looks the part - thick head of foam atop a cloudy orange body. Understandably lacks the punch of, er, alcohol - but also lacks the flavour that makes Erdinger Alkoholfrei a better low-alcoholic alternative.

2.7
SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2017
Bottle from tesco, Walsall. Cloudy golden beer with large foaming head. Aroma of grain and light banana. Taste is grain, banana and some sweetness. Decent.

Alcohol-free beers take me for when I just do sport. It’s the best thing to do to pass the self, moisturize and recover strength without drinking a drink without unnecessary sugars. Half a liter of beer made me fantastic. As a beer, it could be better.

TomHendriksen (816) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2017
Geproefd bij de 2 Bourgondiërs te Hilvarenbeek. Fles gedeeld met Inoven en JoepvW. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een kenmerkende tarwesmaak. Erg zacht, smaak is snel weg.

2.3
Inoven (933) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2017
Fles gedeeld door TomHendriksen tijdens etentje. Geel-oranjachtig bier, matig schuimend. Aroma van gist en nat gras. Smaak is plat. Geen nasmaak.
