This is a great beer with a true Bavarian Hefeweizen style. Great flavor and very rich!

Bottled, 500ml. Light orange gold with big white head. Herby aroma this is a sweetish citric spicy beer, rather heavily flavoured with notes of thyme and a peely grapefruit. A little harsh on the tongue, finishes with fruit.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2007 Bottle. Nice orangy color with a creamy head thait stays. Spicy, citrus taste. To me, this runs a very close second to Paulaner weissbier. This is a really good, refreshing beer. "Der bayerische Hochgenuss." Try it and see why.

Bottled. I had not had this in awhile, it is a very good German Hefe. Good refreshing beer with some spice and banana and vanilla overtones. Some don’t approve of the Lemon wedge in a Hefe, I happen to like it, really adds to the refreshing vibe of this beer.

Got this beer in Italy, because there are no better beers in Italy. A quality white beer that is darker than many other white beers. Definately has that white beer taste, but it is sure good about it. It is really convenient that they have this stuff in Italy and America, where it outclasses many other beers.

Pours a hazy but brilliant orange color. Beautiful white creamy head. It shows good retention and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is wonderful, malty, fruity and hoppy. Rich and complex with notes of banana, orange and vanilla. Hints of wheat, pineapple, tropical fruits. Powerful and fantastic. Sweet fruity and balanced with hoppy layers. Lots of banana, vanilla, apples and tropical fruits. I never tried such a tasty Hefe before. Medium body and carbonation. Oily texture. Medium lasting finish. Long fruity and semi-alcoholic aftertaste. A wonderful brew. I’m impressed.

An excellent weissbier - typical aroma of banana and yeast; cloudy gold colour with a white head; smooth fruity body, with banan and vanilla, not overpowering; clean aftertaste.

Bought @ Steilacoom Wine and Brew. On Tap. This beer is so subtle, yet so flavorful and unique. Lots of German Hefe-Weizens start out like this... Banana on the nose with some yeasty notes then on the palate a smooth, mildly carbonated, lactic, banana, spice beer that just hits the spot! This one is just a little different than some others. A great beer after a hard days work!
