This was a no big deal kinda beer, I’ve had better and worse beers than this one. The good thing is that its easy to get.

Keg was a clowdy yellow, where as bottle more orangy, with a nice fresh citrus nose. its a fairly typical wheat beer.

Cloudy yellow gold. Good strong fruity hefeweisse aroma. Light body which is too light and watery. No real flavor, the aroma comes through only slightly. Has a carbonated taste to it. Slight citrus and spice taste that isn’t enough to make up for its deficiencies. It is not bad but I wouldn’t get it again.

Bottle. Pours muddy dark yellow. Fine medium creamy white head. Aroma is sweet with a spicy banana edge. Flaour has lots of banana, with some peppery spicyness. Ends citric bitter.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2007 From bottle. Spicy, wheat aroma. Cloudy orange colour, good white crisp head. Exciting texture of apricot and pears?, however lacks bite. A little spicy but weak overall. Enjoyed it a lot floating down the Rhine valley

Impressive for a hefeweizen! Nice, thick white head that really lingers. Cloudy. yellow-orange color with a yeasty aroma. Taste has some bready yeast, fruit and a little spice. Well-balanced.

By far one of my favorite beers. Sampled many times and always look forward to the thick head of the pour. It is properly two fingers of solid head that will last the entire drink. Golden straw color is tremendous and the flavor is amazing and goes down so smooth. One of the best hefes!

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2011 Bottle. A hazy/cloudy medium to dark blonde beer. with a huge, frothy/fizzy, fully lasting white head. The aroma is moderately malty and lightly yeasty, with notes of bread, lemon, clove, with a hint of pear and bubblegum. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, average length finish with light bitterness. Rather nice for being a commercial beer, having a good, fruity nose and rather balanced. I still enjoy it from time to time.

I thought this was a great hefe. On tap at Flying Saucer in San Antonio. Yeasty flavor, lots of banana, nice thick head. What’s not to love?

Great Hefe. Well balanced - not too citrusy. I loved the head which stayed around a while. I will definitely try this one again. I had it on draft, but pretty sure I can get it bottled as well.
