Pale yellow, hazy pour with huge, frothy white head. I thought this was a solid hefe. Sweet, yeasty, wheaty, fruity nose that is dominated by banana esters. The flavor hit on coriander, allspice and sweet fruits, especially banana. Slight lemon flavor. Medium body, lively carbonation, short finish.

Definately my favorite Hefe. Offers (to me) a perfect blend between the citrus and yeast notes. Some subtle lemon or banana flavors going on too.

I’ll be short. This is my go-to hefe. It’s regularly $1.99 at my local Vons, which is a-ok by me. No, it’s not the best Hefe, but it’s damn good, especially for the price. Widely available.

Aroma of yeast and citrus. Hazy light orange color with bubbly white head. Yeast, light malt and some citrus - arguably lemon. Quite tastey.

Cold 16.9oz bottle: Pours a cloudy yellowish orange with small ivory head. Some chunks which settled to to the bottom of the class. Aroma is of sharp yeast with notes of banana and citrus. Taste is mainly of yeast, sweet malt and lemony ending.

Bottle (500ml). In my Erdinger hehe glass. Poured cloudy ight orange with a huge foamy lasting white head - very nice. Decent aroma - banana, apple, spice, grain and yeast, a little wheaty. Taste is solid - right on after the nose, plenty of candyish malt, fruit (banana big time), lemon, sweet spices (cloves) and yeasty - not a weak flavour, but it finishes apple-sweet, somewhat dry, and quickly. Average hefe body, nice an syrupy mouthfeel, just enough carbonation, very light and quenching - decent, if light hefe.

12oz bottle pours yellow golden and slightly hazy with a thick white head. A nice yeasty wheaty aroma with malty wheaty flavors a little banana and cloves. A rather crisp finish.

Bottle. Admittedly my first "hefe" and I may need to sample more variety before deciding I don’t really like the stuff. The flavor didn’t live up to the promise of the aroma and appearance; sour and metallic.

cloudy gold with a large creamy head. grainy banana and spice aroma. sharply carbonated mouthfeel. i notice the usual banana but also some tropical fruit flavors(pineapple?) a sweet fruity hefe. slightly thinner body than some. good but not my favorite.

Bottle. Nice big head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma is yeast and malt. Taste is yeast and malt as but with some fruit added.
