Got this beer in Italy, because there are no better beers in Italy. A quality white beer that is darker than many other white beers. Definately has that white beer taste, but it is sure good about it. It is really convenient that they have this stuff in Italy and America, where it outclasses many other beers.

Pours a hazy but brilliant orange color. Beautiful white creamy head. It shows good retention and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is wonderful, malty, fruity and hoppy. Rich and complex with notes of banana, orange and vanilla. Hints of wheat, pineapple, tropical fruits. Powerful and fantastic. Sweet fruity and balanced with hoppy layers. Lots of banana, vanilla, apples and tropical fruits. I never tried such a tasty Hefe before. Medium body and carbonation. Oily texture. Medium lasting finish. Long fruity and semi-alcoholic aftertaste. A wonderful brew. I’m impressed.

An excellent weissbier - typical aroma of banana and yeast; cloudy gold colour with a white head; smooth fruity body, with banan and vanilla, not overpowering; clean aftertaste.

Bought @ Steilacoom Wine and Brew. On Tap. This beer is so subtle, yet so flavorful and unique. Lots of German Hefe-Weizens start out like this... Banana on the nose with some yeasty notes then on the palate a smooth, mildly carbonated, lactic, banana, spice beer that just hits the spot! This one is just a little different than some others. A great beer after a hard days work!

It’s a tasty, little banana-tasting beer with glorious appearance with a beautiful white head. Incredibly tasty! Could be a little less oily...

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2009 This is the beer that got me into beers as a hobby. It showed me that there is something more than Bud, or Becks (when it comes to imports). Now, years later since it’s been introduced to me, my sophistication for beers has changed a lot, and even though I find myself drinking wheat beers less and less, this one I’ll purchase every once in awhile. Amazing all around taste and very full bodied, with a strong spicy citrus flavor, and some hops to finish the job.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2006 1pt .9oz bottle from Hy-Vee Liquors poured into weizen - Pours cloudy gold with a red orange tint with a HUGE white head that fizzles out pretty quickly; Malt, banana, yeast, some citrus to the nose; Banana, a little spice, and some wheat on the initial taste; Yeast, light citrus, and some wheat on a fairly sweet and watery backtaste; Little carbonation can be felt or seen. It’s almost flat; Not like most German hefes I’ve tried, but not bad by any means. A little too watery to be a really good hefe in my book. They got the taste and aroma right though. Interestingly the yeast at the bottom didn’t really suspend that well even with my patented "slam the bottle down to get the stuff to suspend in the beer" technique.

A pale cloudy Hefe weisse beer. Sweet, but very tasty and refreshing. A very good German ale

Bottle. Head was thick off-white and long lasting. Color was golden and the ber is cloudy as Weiss beer is. The initial taste was a little citric and the fruity with some sweetnes. Aftertaste primarily fruity. This beer have a light body, lively carbonation. This is a perfect and well tasting thirsteliminator!
