17oz - Aroma of yeast, candi sugar, lemon, and banana. Opaque golden yellow with champange like bubbles and a sustaining thick head that leaves no lacing. Flavor is right on to the aroma with a bit more bread dough. SLick palate washes down clean. A pretty good hefe.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2007 Original rating 2.9. A solid beer for a wheat, in that it goes down especially well, without any bad funkiness. A great example of the style.

Listen... this is the best beer you’ll ever have that reads "Malt Liquor" on the label (see vertical print on right hand side of label--US only?). Pours antique-globe amber (amber waves of grain)with fair size head. Terrific aroma like sweetgrass (or sweet grass?), freshly bailed hay but in a good way. What’d the hay ever do to get arrested? Bahdumdum! But seriously folks... wonderful refreshing flavor, tiny bit of skunk comes through, but good skunk, I swear. Good and lasting mouthfeel, holds to the tongue a little like coffee (but it obviously doesn’t taste like coffee). Spider web of lacing slowly drains. I like this beer; I bet I like this beer more than you do. But you’re wrong. Cheers!

A great Hefeweizen beer. Lasting thick white head. Golden color. Tastes of yeast and fruits (mostly citric). Very enjoyable !

Bottle; poured a white head that lasted. Hazy, light amber hue. Hints of banana, flowers, and grapefruit. Light citrus taste. Oily texture with soft carbonation. OK but not a favorite.

A solid German Hefeweizen. Taste: yeasts, touch of fresh orange, malts and light hops. This beer has not disappointed me once.

MIBRomeo (2579) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 2, 2005
pours a cloudy off brown copper w/ a small white head decent lacing. An odd sour light fruit aroma hints of wheat and lemon maybe cuz some idiot threw a lemon in my beer. Palate is mildly carbonated ok coating. Fairly light. Tastes of bannana nut bread light yeast and nutmeg. A pretty decent beer.

Bottle. Hazy, yellow/orange colour with a white head. Sharp, yeasty aroma with citrus. Flavour is acidic with yeast. Dry. Nice finish. Too much carbondioxide, though.
