Aroma consists of cereal notes with a hay background. Produced a fluffy, pillowy-white head that quickly settles into the hazy-golden beer. Web-type lacing appears when tipped to the lips. Absolutely perfect balance in the taste!! (Well, Germans are the masters of the art). An ever so slight sweetness that dances perfectly with the cereal aroma that lingers in the nose. Medium-bodied hefeweizen with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation (hard to view due to the haziness) that is evident on the palate. There is also just the right amount of acidity and alcohol that is made aware in the mouth. Finishes long, smooth, and refreshingly....... That monk on the label knows what he’s doing!!!!

My boyfriend and I loved it but the bottle broke when he used a bottle opener right at the cap. And it sliced his finger open.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2017 Bottle. Cloudy orange beer with large white head. Aroma of wheat, clove, light banana, with notes of citrus. Taste is light sweet with very light tartness, some bread and banana, clove, citrus, orange. Spices in light bitter finish, Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Not very surprising, but highly drinkable and fine weizen.

Ar: Slightly underripe banana, at a medium-high intensity; some hints of tart peach skin and clove; fresh, light, bready malt. Ap: Deep gold and hazy; very large white head, great frothy and thick consistency, high retention; foam forms a merengue -like cap. T: Light sweetness with fairly pronounced banana and peach; lightly tart, with a fresh grainy bread quality; slight black pepper, medium-low clove, with a herbal, floral hoppiness and very low, clean bitterness; finish is peach skin, cracker malt, and banana. P: Medium body with very high carbonation; creamy and lush; finish is medium-dry. O: Stellar German hefeweizen; the banana, peach, clove, black pepper, and fresh maltiness are all present; light tartness keeps the beer bright, crisp, and quaffable.

Aroma of wheat and yeast, mostly banana. Pours opaque yellow-orange with large snowy head. In flavor a nice slightly sweet blend of wheat, bananas and other yeasty flavors, touch of cloves & citrus, with very mild spice and bitterness in the finish, great balance. Smooth body, fitting medium-high carbonation, very drinkable. As good as it gets, it’s great.

(500 ml bottle) Cloudy orange beer, with vigorous medium carbonation, and a rocky white head. A big malt and yeast aroma: biscuit and bread, fresh wheat and cereal, banana and clove, then smooth caramel, caster sugar, citrus flowers, kiwi, and a hint of rice. The finish is clean, with a wisp of mineral water and pine. The mouthfeel is fairly light and bubbly; but the balanced aroma more than makes up for it. This is one of the best Weißbier I’ve tried so far. Highly refreshing.

Es duftet fruchtig. Beim Antrunk leicht säuerlich, bananig mit schönem würzigen Körper. Sehr erfrischendes und süffiges Hefe-Weizen!
