Serving: from tap at Schultzy’s Sausage. Aroma: strong, banana-like aroma. Appearance: average-sized, rocky, off-white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, dark-yellow body. Taste: slightly sweet and citrusy, banana-like initial flavor and lightly sour, yeasty finish with short duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Overall: excellent. One of the best hefeweizens I have ever tried.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 Draft. It poured a hazy gold with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of floral and light citrus- orange - with banana bread in the taste. Light bodied and malty. Very enjoyable weissbier. A7 A5 T7 P5 O17

Color entre amarillo y naranja, opaco debido a su turbidez, con capa de espuma blanca de tres dedos de grosor (cremosa y de buena retención). Carbonatación media. Textura acuosa y ligeramente chispeante. Aroma frutal, a plátano, levadura, pan, ligeramente floral. En boca buen balance entre acidez y dulzor, mucho pan y plátano, bastante frutal en general, con levadura bastante presente. Postgusto frutal.

Bottle from somewhere in Germany. I guess this won’t be my favorite weizen but still it’s well done. Especially if you consider owner of the brewery. Aroma is light banana. Taste is yeasty, very slightly bitter. Good.

Good beer, but not one of my favourites. Bottled and with very present aroma.

Bottle on the villa terrace in Cyprus. A nice low level of carbonation and it looked good in the glass. This was thirst quenching and there was a definite hit of banana in the flavour. There was a richness from the malt and a flavour of the hops. There was a good long-lasting head and it was very pleasant and perfect for the climate. It set me up nicely before taking the family out for dinner.

Almost perfect. I live about 40 minutes drive from Germany and every time it’s worth the drive. Excellent taste and much aroma.

At home from a bottle, shared with Rabo. Good white foam, a good aroma and color. Very nice taste, sweet.
