16.9 ounce bottle from Publix. Appearance: Pours out a cloudy, golden-orange body with a rather large, fluffy, off-white head, though it quickly gasses out into just a very thin layering of fizzle. Smell: Mild nose smelling of wheat malt, lemon wedges, ground coriander, and banana...the usual suspects. Taste: Lightly tangy-tasting malted wheat. Small hint of raw grain. Light touches of lemon, coriander, and banana pass by the tongue. Hop bitterness remains very low, just enough to be felt. Things thin out considerably as you near the dry finish, but there is a bit more lemon to be had. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body, though lacking the creaminess of other weiss beers. In place of that a little more carbonation and tanginess. Drinkability: It’s a nice Hefe. It does everything well.

On tap @Ølfred - Aarhus Streetfood. Pours hazy yellow, with thick white foam. Scent of banana and orange. The taste is nothing impressive, though it has a aftertaste of fruits like banana, and spices like

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, wheat, some banana, slight clove, a little cereal malts and subtle spice. Taste of orange, a little apricot, some wheat, cereal malts, slight banana, a hint of clove and subtle spice. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A subtley tart, spicy wheat bitterness in the finish. A solid weissbier. Typical flavours with subtle spice and tartness.

Disigt orangefärgad med vitt skum med vitt skum. Doft av skumbanan och koriander. Söt och ganska klassisk veteöl.

Among my favorite Weizen. Has a very distinct banana flavor to it, quite typical, but I find this to be the one qith the strongest flavor on that end. Therefore it is perfect for a Banana-Weizen mixer, which is not everybody's cup, but certainly popular in some regions. Do like it (with or wihtout a banana juice shot)!

I've seen bottles of this in supermarkets for years and years. I’ve never really been a massive fan of weissbeir but I figured I should probably try this variety out. It is much better than I thought, although it is almost “chewy”, for lack of a better way of putting it (something I have experienced with weissbeirs before). Bananery, fluffy and tasty.

Butelka. Wygląd - biało-złoty kolor, zamglone, z dodać konkretna, średniooczkową, szara pianą. Aromat - konkretne banany, trochę goździków, pszenica, lekka przyprawowość i trochę gumy balonowej. Dobry, klasyczny weizen.
