Very weak aroma and poor taste. It’s good, but it doesn’t have any particularities.

Lekker wit biertje om vaker te drinken. Duidelijke witbier smaak met lekkere afdronk. Gewoon goed biertje ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Backlog. 500ml bottle.
Smells of slight citrus over some banana and wheat. The aroma is not that intense.
Taste is wheaty banana over almost nonexistent wheat spices - where are the cloves or at least some coriander, lavendar, whatever that would give this slight herbal kick...

Bottle, pours bright golden with a thin head and typical banana and lemon nose with a hint of spice. Dry and spicy-fruity, smooth and malty, very nice.

From old tasting notes. Labeled as Spaten Club Weise. Clear deep gold color with a monsterous rocky white head. Lots of tiny bubbles. Fresh citrus wheat malt nose. Refreshingly sweet flavor is lightly carbonated and delicately balanced. Possesses all the right qualities characteristic of a Munchener Weissbier.

(500 ml bottle) Pours a beautiful, crystal-clear, light-golden beer, with vigorous medium carbonation, and a foamy white head. A fresh, fully-rounded fragrance distinguishes a quality Weissbier; and in this case, filtering the beer has in no way diminished its hallmarks. Fresh wheat, fresh malt, biscuit, caramel, banana, clove, and mineral water come through in abundance, leading to sapid notes of kiwi, lemon, honey, and green grape. This beer tastes mild and bittersweet throughout, leaving a bite of clove and spruce sap on the palate. Light, refreshing, and effervescent, it’s a fine midsummer brew. Though I normally favour unfiltered Hefeweizen, this beer is not only brighter, but less stodgy and heavy than its cloudy counterpart. Fine, easy drinking all around.
