Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Weizen yeast, wheat, fruit, bread and spices.
Turbid/opaque amber/orange beer with slight yeast and with a slight/medium white/off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, Weizen yeast, wheat and fruit; ends slightly dry with bread and spices.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Feels like a regular Weizen with more malts. Great for what it is, but loses some needed refreshing hops.
Bakkos búza ez is, könnyen is csúszik. The Cure koncert előtt pedig egyszerűen észveszejtő. hauxe (937) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2016
Pours amber from the bottle and leaves a large foamy head that soon dissipates. Very little hazyness ... looks filtered. Also very little evident carbonation. The beer has an inert look about it once the head is gone. Aroma is banana and honey. Taste is sweet. Lots of banana and a hint of spice. The advertised honey melon taste comes at the finish, which remains decidedly sweet. Medium bodied with a carbonation that is light, but sufficient. Overall good stuff, and definitely more nuanced than the standard dunkel Weizen from the same brewery.

Bottle from online shop. Hazy orange / copper color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, banana, wheat, caramel, yeast, earthy notes and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, banana, wheat, yeast and grass. Excellent hefeweizen. olahmark (4) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 27, 2016 does not count
The Franziskaner ground wheat beer is among my favourites. This one has similar good quality with definitive honey and banana, however a hint of metallic finish, which has somehow disappointed me. All together soft but significant palate. I would buy it again. Chopper925 (589) - Gross Gerau, GERMANY - SEP 19, 2016
