Aroma: Light malty, bready, caramel. Very light hops, floral Appearance: Slightly hazy, amber body. Almost no head. Very fine bubbles. Low retention. Flavour: Medium-light malt, caramel, bitterness, hops, floral, spicy. Medium sweet finish with lingering floral, spicy and caramel. Mouthfeel : Low carbonation. Medium body. Overall: Carbonation is a massive problem! , It really detracts from the enjoy-ability of the beer - not only the mouthfeel, but affecting the whole beer. It feels that like this beer could be a LOT better if it had carbonation. 440 ml bottle, poured. 18B. American Pale Ale

34 cl bottle at the new brewery tap. I am not normally one for lighter beers but this is a 3.7% beer that tastes 4.7% and up - a great achievement in my book. Maybe it is the mature hopping - Southern Passion is a great hop when it is on form - but there has to be something in the brewing. English-style malt bashing? I donít know. Either way, itís a sign of a brewer of great potential.

Got a bottle from League of Beers through Yuppiechef. OVER carbonated, wow, nearly shot my finger off, I think my cat wonít return home for a few days... Palate and taste (thick & pasty mouthfeel) reminds me exactly of Tusker lager brewed in Kenya, I canít like it. Banana esters should not be present in this beer. Such a let down for a pale ale... Great colour and head retention.

1st on this beer! Slightly weak aroma and taste and body. Not a bad beer though. Weak in ABV might make it less full in taste.
